Successful Network Marketing - Tip Number Two

How can I be successful at network marketing?  There’s so much to do!  This thought can get you in trouble.  Let’s look at how to avoid that trouble.  Welcome to tip number two!

Without a doubt there are tons of ways to market both online and offline.  There’s different content marketing, social networks, video marketing, forums, classifieds, banners, pay per click, e-books, blogs, SEO, links, emails...it’s no wonder people get confused and overwhelmed!

Yet again, here is a piece of simple advice that I wish someone had told me at the beginning of my network marketing career.  Slow down!  If you try to tackle all of these at once you are setting yourself up for burnout.  This is a big reason why many people just give up, not to mention that they see no results.

And is it any wonder?  It takes time to learn each method and perfect it.  Take pay per click marketing.  This is really powerful (if you have the money to do it), but if you don’t do it right you can end up spending tons of money with very little results.  The point is to make money, not spend it.  The point is to have more time for yourself and your family, not extend your work days.  And this can all be very stressful.

If you are attempting to do all these things at once I want you to stop right now.  Let me put it another way.  If you are not generating at least 20 leads a day on just one of these methods you are not doing it right.  And don’t worry, we all start at the beginning.  It’s natural.  You are not alone, believe me.  But to create a truly successful network marketing business you need to perfect each method.  It doesn’t come easy and it doesn’t come quick.  But with practice, with consistent action it will come.  Ever hear the saying practice makes perfect?  Of course you have.

My best advice for you is to pick one or two marketing strategies and stick with it until you get the results you are looking for.  I know, it may not seem like much.  But when you start doing each properly you will see just how valuable this advice is.  Pick one or two things and do those things every single day.  Learn all you can about each one and keep working it until you get the results you desire.  Then and only then are you free to learn another method.

Let’s take a quick look at content marketing.  Writing an article and submitting it to a few directories is just not enough.  Anthony Robbins said something, and I can’t quote it, but he said massive results require massive action.  So, you write an article.  You place that article on your website and then you submit it to all the social bookmarking and social networking sites out there.  Next you rewrite your article (a topic we discussed in an earlier article) and post it to the article directories.  Then to your blog.  You also need to write back when anyone writes a comment on the article you submitted.  Do you see how this might take some time?

There’s a lot to it!  There’s a lot to virtually every method out there.  And that’s OK.  In time you will get so good that the 6 hours it took you before will turn into 2 hours.  How would you like to generate 20 or more leads every single day using one method and 2 hours of work.  Sound pretty good?  That, my friend, is exactly why you want to slow down and do each one right.

And that is the end of this article.  Pretty simple, wouldn’t you say?  Just remember, keep it slow.
