Successful Network Marketing - Tip Number One

Successful network marketing, contrary to what you may now believe, is really not that difficult.  There are some key factors that make the difference between those that succeed and those that don’t.  In this series I will be discussing 5 tips to make your network marketing a success.

Today’s tip is perhaps my favorite.  It didn’t begin that way, believe me.  In fact, in the beginning I was so caught up in all the network marketing hype that I completely ignored this one ingredient.  It cost a couple of years of struggle.  Let me save you those years of heartache and get right down to it.

Do you really want to be successful in network marketing?  I know you do.  Why else would you be reading this?  The fact that you are reading this leads me to believe you have at least an idea of what you need.  Maybe you are looking for a shortcut.  Some would say there are no shortcuts, I would have to disagree.

On the same note successful network marketing takes time.  Let me ask you something.  What does every solid building need?  There is a saying in the Christian Bible that I think every business person needs to know.  Perhaps you know it.  Let me just quote a small bit of it: “The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.”  Are you familiar with it?  What does every solid building need?  You guessed it, a foundation.

Our foundation is network marketing training.  But not just any training.  Would you go to a poor man to learn finances?  Would you go to a horse trainer to learn about training your dog?  Would you go to a mechanic to learn about fixing your computer?  Absolutely not, so why would it be any different in network marketing?

There is a lot of information out there on the internet.  Information is good.  In many businesses, in order to keep your license, you have to get continual training.  It’s not even a request, it’s a requirement.  Network marketing is no different.  You need continual training.  There will never be a time when you know it all.  Things change so rapidly.

So, here is the ultimate tip.  It’s why I decided to make it number one.  To get the best information, to learn about successful network marketing I want you to go to the source.  Successful network marketers.  Look for those successful network marketers and do what they do.  Strike up a relationship with them.  Buy their books and videos.  Subscribe to their emails.  Follow them on Twitter and watch their every move.  This is your ticket to success.

This is the starting point.  From here you can move ahead.  Not just blindly bouncing from one thing to the next, but with purpose and with direction.  Do you really want to be successful?  Then never stop learning.  Never stop that training.  Never stop (and that is a tip for another day).
